Scenarios: analytical imprecision, inaccuracy, the Gaussian curve and the Levey-Jennings chart
Here we present four scenarios in which the three elements are correlated: the target, the Gauss curve and the control chart, or Levey-Jennings chart.
• Find: The visual correlation between the three elements, making an analogy with the target, object of general knowledge about objective, successes and errors.
• Understand: The meaning of imprecision and inaccuracy and how these situations are represented in the control chart.
• Apply: Concepts and interpretations in the analysis of the control chart, in the assessment of the analytical quality of the clinical laboratory.
